how do i find out if someone was really a navy seal?
i know someone who is involved with a guy who says he was a former navy seal. i call bull****. i've seen him, and i've seen how former navy seal are built. he is not built like a navy seal.
anybody with some info would be greatly appreciated.

Most SEALs I know aren't of huge build. How's he built? If he's fat, how long has he been out of the service?
I'm a part of a Ranger community that is particularly adept at 'outing' Ranger posers. Maybe they could figure him out, but I kind of doubt it. There's got to be a similar site where a lot of current and former SEALs hang out. Maybe SOCNET. Salty's a member over there. He ought to know.

You know it actually makes me chuckle, ponder, fear, and then chuckle again when the dudes on ArmyRanger.com go after a poser. Nothing's safe. When you consider the scope of the internet (the virtual world) with the actual network that these guys represent, it's scary. And in some cases, it's not too unusual for someone to actually call upon said "targetted poser of the day".
Those guys take themselves very seriously, and for good reason. I'm only Ranger qualified, but those dudes were, and in many cases still are, serious operators. They lived it for years on end and are seriously offended whenever someone with no earthly idea poses as one of them.
In the Army we call that REACH.

Nobody named Micheal –or- Michael Villa was ever a SEAL. As a matter of fact nobody with the last name of Villa was ever a SEAL at the date of this post.
Hopefully the SERPs pick up his name and bring it to the top of Google when this despicable ****stick decides to Google his name.
