Funding Opportunity Description: The Public Telecommunications Facilities Program (PTFP) assists, through matching grants, in the planning and construction of public telecommunications facilities in order to:
extend delivery of services to as many citizens as possible by the most cost-effective means, including use of broadcast and non-broadcast technologies;
increase public telecommunications services and facilities available to, operated by, and controlled by minorities and women;
strengthen the capability of existing public TV and radio stations to provide public telecommunications services to the public.
Amount to be Awarded: $19.8 million; approximately 100 awards.
Funding Instrument: Grant
Eligible Applicants: To apply for and receive a PTFP Construction or Planning Grant, an applicant must be: (a) a public or noncommercial educational broadcast station; (b) a noncommercial telecommunications entity; (c) a system of public telecommunications entities; (d) a non-profit foundation, corporation, institution, or association organized primarily for educational or cultural purposes; or (e) a state, local, or Indian tribal government (or agency thereof), or a political or special purpose subdivision of a state.

Hmmm... when was the last time you saw a conservative radio show being pushed in am television during the morning news? How 'bout never?
I think liberals are foaming at the mouth, and they know that now is the time they must act to get some communist/marxist in the whitehouse when "spender bush" is done mortgaging our country.

To have an even marginally popular radio show call the administration on their lies and deception was news.
Until the plame scandal broke, and the administration bungled the Katrina disaster, I don't recall hearing any bad press for the administration since the campaigns.
And then, you know.....DeLay and Frist's malfeasance is hard to miss too.
