Canada in talks to help run Iraq election

Although we'd appreciate Canada's support, there's nothing quite a bench warmer asking the coach to play in the last seconds of the half.

This type of "risk" doesn't surprise me...

Canada is in talks with Washington, the United Nations and the interim government of Iraq to play a leading role in preparing for and possibly monitoring that country's parliamentary election early next year, sources told The Globe and Mail.

A senior official confirmed yesterday that the federal government is discussing the possibility with the three players, and a formal announcement could coincide with the official visit to Canada next week of President George W. Bush.

OMG Canada wants to do something? Oh yea, they're trying to remind us that they still exist....J/K. I like Canada...lots of nice people to party with up there (except the ones that hate America). Besides, without Canada we wouldn't have the Mackenzie brothers...

This is the Canadian's first step in claiming the 'blue' states from the US...leaving the USofE behind(I'm sure you all saw the map...). I'm gonna start buying maple syrup and fur hats so when I see the mounties riding down the 5 and the 1, they'll know I'm on their side hahahahahahahahaha.
