Bush caves to McCain

Bush finally gives in to McCain and signs no-torture bill:

I think it's a step in the right direction for Bush.
Any thoughts?

He had no choice. The administration's policy is "we do not torture" Vetoing the bill would have once again showd him up as the lying schmuck he is.

MmCain is one of the republicans who I would surely vote for if he ran (for president). I think he is one of the smartest guys in politics right now. However, he is not nearly extreme enough for the RNC to nominate him.

I agree.

This is the exact problem with both parties even though I think it's worse with the RNC.

It's so PC....lol.

Yeah, I'm sure the teams operating under SOC, and the field agents from the CIA will comply with this...

The biggest problem with both parties is the fact that they are seperate parties.

Once you seperate people into "teams" they compete and start acting like little kids.

But I guess that's totally besides the point.

Extreme honestly isn't the right term. They simply can't trust McCain to stick to the party line and shut down his judgement/concience.

Aside from that: He's a racist *****, and can't keep his mouth shut. He would lose 100% of the minority vote for the republican party.

"I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live."

John McCain

He also admitted that adultry broke up his first marriage.

He will never be president, for many good reasons.
