Umm, just because Clinton left a budget surplus doesn't mean he's was awesome. The only reason there was a budget surplus is because Clinton SIGNED the BILL to ALLOW NINJA LOANS TO HAPPEN! This was the root cause of the housing bubble. People could just buy a house saying they made 100k a year without showing proof. Then they bought a bunch of houses trying to flip them and make $$$, which did happen for a good 5-10 years. Then the bubble burst, and hence Bush was 200bil in debt at the end of his term and was trying to "stimulate" the economy.

Clinton made a surplus, but an artificial dumb way to make one that lead to the crisis that we're in now.

That's not to take away that Obama did spend more... because people think this nation needs more spending to somehow fix the previous problem... which was made because of spending... lol.

It's insanity to think something is going to fix something else, after we've tried that before, but we keep doin it... and keep failing!
