Budget lowering
I just finished putting on my Whiteline HD front endlinks, and tightening up my rear swaybar to the 24mm level. I also have the whiteline 20mm Front swaybar installed. I love the way it rides.
However, I feel a little too high up. Currently there is no way in hell I can get coilovers, but I am looking at some springs to drop the car about 1-2".
What are some good sets of springs, and does anyone else have aftermarket springs on their Wagons?
Thanks for the input.

P.S. Someday I will do something with the engine... someday

Hello,
I saw the thread name "Budget lowering" and the first thought I had was "here's a nail, stick it in each of your tires, you'll drop another 3-4 inches!"
I guess that's not a helpful answer, eh?

The nails are very effective, but seriously hurt your 1/4 mile times and ride quality is very harsh.... not to mention gas mileage.

check out this chart.
Figure out what kind of a ride you desire and how much you want to drop.
Whitelines lower your car, but retain a soft ride (compared to other springs). I'm not totally pleased with mine because the back dropped a lot further than the front.
Remember the higher the rate the stiffer the ride.

Thanks for the link. Probably go with the Eibachs because they are easy to get ahold of, but since I really don't care about ride comfort in my car, the Tein Hard's look nice.
Question: Are those numbers right for the DMS Tarmacs? Never heard of those (not surprising) but 700/650 is INSANE!!
I wonder

They make a wide range of racing struts and springs.
Everything from everyday street to autoX and World Ralley. Thus the 700. There's a lot of force when a car is landing from a 12 foot jump.
