My family has had four dogs and they've been rescued dogs. If my parents decide on getting another dog, it will be a rescued dog again.

I would go so far as to add that most people who buy dogs from breeders need to watch this so they understand their impact on the overall situation at large.

Please note that I said most - I am not so daft as to think that there are not those with special needs or requirements in a breed.
