"Whining" sound with new OEM Size Rotors on WRX

Just recently installed OEM size drilled/slotted plated rotors along with new OEM pads and ss brake lines. Once up to speed between 40mph - 72 mph, when the throttle is being pressed, a whining occurs from the front left wheel well area. Not sure if its the rotor or drive shaft/cv joint. I also installed Tein Flex coilovers. I thought maybe because the cv axles are at a different angle( car is slightly lower) although that shouldn't matter. Also thought It could be a bad wheel bearing. There doesn't appear to be any interference issues with the rotors against the OEM calipers. Above 72mph, the whining goes away.
If anyone has any ideas about what could be causing the problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

any chance that the rotor has some kind of coating on it or is supposed to get some kind of work done it before installing it? (like getting it resurfaced...i dunno) thats all i can think of..

maybe it's air whistling through the rotor? I know drilled/slotted rotors make more noise when stopping, but haven't heard of anything else. A wheel bearing usually makes a grinding noise...
Also - make sure the brake lines aren't hitting anything.
