How many wrx have 1st gear sound like reverse

whenever i decelerate with my clutch pressed in, 1st gear sounds like its in reserve (that whining sound) just wondering if that normal or not or if all subaru are like that?

All stock 02 wrx

thanks

well my first 2 WRX's didnt do it, but the one I have now does, has 60k miles, possible we just need to change the gear oil I have a box of synthetic gear oil going in as soon as my mechanic gets some free time. I dont have a lift in my garage like some people or id do it myself :P

Also I know this Trans. was rebuilt by subaru at 52k miles, possibly just what new gears sound like or something, not sure. but ill keep you posted if the synthetic changes anything
