Question What is this noise??!! please help!

It ONLY happens after my car has been sitting/parked for a bit.

I pull away from a park, then slow down and POP, from my front passenger side suspension. Only happens once after each sitting.

I've had the brakes and struts/springs checked, and I even lifted it and nothing stands out. Any ideas at all would be appreciated.

Thanks

What model car do you have? Is the suspension bone stock?

The lugs are all tight.......torqued to 75lbs.

It's a WRX. The sound started several months after I installed a rear sway bar (Cusco) with Whiteline end links. I've installed Prodrive springs, and they didn't help or hurt the problem as far as I know. Other than that, the rest of the suspension is stock.

Hmmmm, I'll have to check that out. Although the noise seems to be coming from up front. But I'll check.

Hey Jon,

You might want to make sure that your rear sway bar endlinks are correctly torqued. After I re-torqued mine the popping noise that I had on my WRX went away.

Super

PS. torque 45+-6 NM:banana:

I had something similar except mine was on my driver side strut area. It sounded like a old matress spring and only made noise when i first started driving. After waring up the car i invitably warmed up the suspension too and the noise went away. Ultimately, the noise just went away after awhile and im not sure what it was...As far as mods to the front suspension all i have is Front swaybar and a whiteline 599 Front stb.

i know for a fact a lot of other people had this same problem because i posted on it awhile back
