Amen, brutha! If you want any modicum of performance, just save your pennies and get Tein BASIC, if you're not wanting to go for the more pricey SS or Flex.

Tein does not offer lifetime warranty on their coilovers. KYB offers lifetime warranty on their struts (if the drop is not over 1.5"). I belive the s-tech do not drop 2" like stated in the front.
I really did not need the height adjustability, but wanted the dampening adjustability. My decision maker over tein basics and other coilover systems.

After another inspection of my Tein S-Tech's we discovered that the rubber sleeve that attaches to the spring has worked its way off...... again. This is only a daily driver, no track racing at all. I am very dissappointed with the springs. Two local shops have been looking at the springs and are really confused by why this is happening. This will be the 3rd time the strut needs to be reassembled to fix this problem. I've seen the work that the car shops have been doing and everything looks good when I leave, and a month or two later, same thing. This combined with how noisey they are, is a real turn off. Time to consider just dropping them and going with a different spring.
