Either spring is going to shorten strut life. The H-Tech's I believe do not lower the car as much and they are supposed to be a softer ride. The S-Tech's lower the car more and the ride is a little stiffer. I had the S-Tech's on my 01 RS and I liked the ride. So really it is a preference as to what you are looking for no matter which ones at least your car will be lower.

the s.techs has a nicer drop over the h.techs, but the h.techs has a stiffer ride. i used to have s.techs, but i went with coilovers cuz i wasnt satisfied wit the drop and stiffness. i would go wit the s.techs.

You got it backwards the H-techs are supposed to be stiffer and the S-techs lower the car more.

Dude just get the s-techs and then when those struts wear out, you can upgrade. You won't be disappointed.

Call Ryan at Speedgear, they are Hawaii's Tein dealer. They might have them in stock.
