S Tech springs have .6" more drop than H Tech and a stiffer ride. I have H Tech springs on my STI:

S-Techs are springs just for show. Their performance is absolute crap. Too low for their rated spring rate and in general too low if you are looking for a performance spring. If you have to do TEIN go with the HTech. there are, however, better peformance springs out there.

s-tech's give a really nice drop, not too low, about 2 finger clearance between the tire and fender. the ride is rough though.. it realy depends where you live. I live in los angeles where there are a lot of potholes, so the ride was horrible. if you live in an area with smooth streets, it should be great.

as far as performance goes, when i had them it felt a lot better than stock. just dont use it on the track.

H-tech's do not really drop the car much, and i have no idea about the ride quality.

If your on a tight budget, get the s-tech's if u want a realy nice drop, get the h-tech's if comfort is your concern.

I had the tein s-tech's and wanted both comfort and a nice drop, so now i have the Tein SS's and have both. It cost me about $1200 though.
