H-Tech or S-Tech?

Thinking that after 3000 mile now being on my 2005 WRX its time to get rid of the wheel gap. Which Tein spring in your opinion will work better? And do I need to purchase any alignment kits for the amount of lowering these springs give?

Thanks
Trent

well the S-techs supposedly are more for **bling** factor, but they drop the car a good amount. i actually bought some for my car, they r sittin in my garage as we speak. u will need a rear camber bolt kit, since the rears arent adjustable from the factory. the fronts r fine. the h-techs are supposed to be a sportier springs witha little less drop than the s-techs. its up to you big boy. do what ya wanna do. i got s-techs cuz i hate the massive wheel gaps. my $.02

s-tech will actually LOWER your performance. they have a lower springrate. better ride quality but not good for handling. the h-tech is going to give you a good spring rate. but it doesnt give you as much of a drop

STech (2002-2003 WRX) 218 157
STech (2004 WRX And STi) 252 219
2002 WRX Sedan (MT/AT) 163/163 119/132

Perhaps you should check before you spout misinformation?

Lowering on uprated springs is done to keep stockish geometry with the reduced roll.

Lowering with stock rates will alter the geometry for the worse.

Get a s-tech its drops ur ride and the right amount. It lokks good but get strut bar so ur handle is a lot better and think about replacing ur shocks for some kyb agx. So you have smoother ride and if ur thinking of replacing ur rims for some 17inch or 18inch replace ur sway bar wiht an upgraded like an cusco. Good luck and did to my 04wrx and rides will.
