as soon as the rotors on my STi give out... cross drilled brembos are going in there...

it's scary when i hit the brakes when it's raining or wet roads...

How would crossdrilling help that?

my theory is that the water gets trapped between the pad and rotor surface and it feels like i'm stepping on the brakes and no braking action is happening.

i let off and step back on (like the water's been wiped away) and it feels normal...

i've had cross drilled rotors on my toyota truck for about 5-6 years now and i dont see any cracks on them.

granted i dont "track" them... but i believe the cracking is due to the holes MADE after the rotor is made, instead of casting holes DURING the making of the rotor...

Weird, I wonder if it's the pad material being cold. The wrx doesn't to that at all. Sounds crappy to feel in the rain.
