Make me neutral
I have some Tein High-techs and that's it for suspension mods. I'm looking to get a rear anti-roll bar to neutralize the suspension. My guess is that since the natural tendency is to understeer, I can just correct it with the necessary amount of stiffening to the rear and I should come out neutral enough for most hard street driving. Has anyone figure out the "formula" yet? Anyone with an adjustable rear anti-roll have suggestions?

Rear sway bar plus
Also get some front Cusco camber plates. The stock settings are horrible. Run -1.5 to -2.0 degrees for sporty/agressive street with the rear sway bar, rear camber set to -1 or -1.5 and you're good to go.
For me this has been a good street/sporty set-up. Though for track I need to get the back end to come around even more so I need a more agressive setting than this, even.

mmboost- the RSB will probably be enough to neutralize the car. The camber will mostly just raise the speeds you can take a given curve (more max grip, but same front/rear balance). A RSB and really good tires like Pilot Sports or S-03s would work wonders too. Changing your camber will also make your tires wear to the point of replacement MUCH faster, as well as increase your stoping distances. I would only recommend camber plates if they can be adjusted at the track and put back close to stock later. Also, they would almost certainly bump your car up to a class where it would need a lot more money dropped on mods to be competitive. Just going one step at a time would be my advice. The RSB will much improve your car's handling character.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking BAN SUVS (and we should ban SUVs too
). Although, thanx for the extra info Almost_stock
I'm actually decently knowledgeable about basic suspension tuning (thanx to Fred Phun and Ross Bentley), but I wasn't in the mood to test and tune... just tune
So RSB, as you put it, was what I was thinking too. But regarding neutrality, do you recommend a specific width? I figure if I get an adjustable I can change it as I change other components to maintain neutrality or lean towards oversteer as desired. What width have you found gives the best result if you want to be nuetral? I would also guess this might change from manufacturer to manufacturer because they also use different designs and metals.

I'd get an 18-20-22mm adjustable. On a stock car it goes from slight understeer to about neutral to slight oversteer. Whiteine is the first one that comes to mind.

Hmm, the sedan (wrx) is 20mm stock already, isn't it? So by your scale then this whiteline of those dimensions would be heavy understeer(10) to light understeer (20, like stock) to neutral (22), yes?

Ah ha! As a '01 GM6 owner I assume other intelligent i-Clubbers to be the same unless stated otherwise.
The 20-22-24 would be better for you of course.

I have a Cusco 22mm ARSB on my wagon and the 22mm setting seems to be just perfect. Pretty neutral but definitely oversteers at the limit if you want it to. I have heard that sturdier endlinks can make quite a bit of difference as far as how responsive the SB is. But just concerning the neutrality of the car you'll be able to tune in the desired amount of oversteer with a 22mm bar. Good luck and don't hesitate if you have any questions as far as installation goes.
jason, i ran cusco adjustable rear sway bar at "24mm" w/o a front sway bar for awhile and there was a lot (for me, ie not scientific since ive always driven 4x4's) of oversteer... 22mm might be a good setup for you.
