help with coilovers....
Hello all. I know this question gets asked over and over again but I have no clue what to get. I have a 2007 wrx wagon and am finally taking the first step to modifying my car! I'm debating between the H&R coilovers or tein basic or flex... but am open to any suggestions. I am just lowering my car for looks and do not race at all but I do not want a bumpy ride. I would like a harder springs but don't know how to tell whether it will be hard or soft.
I'm on stock rims but will eventually get some different rims...
Thanks for any help!

if its for looks: ISC, megan, stance, BC racing, fortune auto. all the cheap ones
the cheapest coilovers i would get are the suspensiontechniques/KW v1s: ST Coilovers (Also DMS Camber Plates) - An ongoing review. - NASIOC

unless you need to run crazy camber or wanna be really low maybe look into a spring strut setup. RCE yellows or swift springs with some konis or tokico dspecs. you will get the looks you want and can have a better setup than those cheap coils.
and dont get tein
and dont get tein

Good deal. Have you decided what rates you're going with?

Then coilovers are not for you. Unless you race on a competitive basis, then coilovers not a good choice. They are less reliable, a whole lot more of a hassle, and require periodic downtime compared to springs and struts. I suggest skipping coilovers on a DD and highly finding nice springs (and struts if needed).
All of the above are garbage. Especially if ride is a concern to him.

k any recommendations on spring rates? I don't want the ride to be too bumpy but nothing too hard... just something comfortable... lol
umm... btw I'm a female... thats y I need help... hahaha i suppose...
Give Ground Control a call. They are your best bet on getting help for spring rates for the ride you are looking for if you are going with a GC set up. Be very honest with them on what you are looking for. All to often people overestimate with a track type set up when they really won't be happy with it.
Call GC, they will help.
Good luck
Edit: let us know what they recommended for your set up and driving habits.
