**For GDB: Tein Flex type coilovers vs. Stance Coilovers**
Hey guys, I'm shopping for a coilover system.... i have narrowed it down to two:
I need some advice on comparing the cons and pros or just plain suggesstions on which route i wanna go. I just want to make sure that I can slam my car (height) and keep appropriate camber.
I need to choose between :
A) Tein Flex type Coilovers
or
B) Stance Coilovers
If you guys could help me.. i would definately appreciate it!!!

I'd go with Tein. Just my personal preference.
I've see alot of people with their products and haven't heard one complaint from them. Also you can get Tein's EDFC: (Electronic Damping Force Controller) which is a great tool, and make's you feel like James Bond.
But hey, that's just what I think.

Do the research man, Tein Flex is a non-inverted Twin Tube strut. The Stance are Monotube and inverted front and rears(Like WRC cars). Stance also puts in actual research for their damping charecteristics for each car, tein just goes by spring rates. Monotube > Twin tube, for the simple reasons that the gas and fluid are completely seperated by a floating shim. Twin tubes the oil and air are not seperated, the oil eventually gets airated with bubbles and completely changes the feel and can become squeeky. I could see this being some what of a debate if it were between and Stance and Tein RS or something, but the flex is just Tein's unresearched "i wanna lower my car" coilover. Plus the guys at Stance said they are researching an in car electric damping controller.

if you want pricing for the Stance coilovers, give me a call 2m at my work (Mach III). the WRX ones will fit the Wagon. you wont have to worry about it. I personally also think stance is the way to go. Especially for the dollar amount!

get the stance, the Flex arent even in the same league as the stance. people r comparing them to Cusco Zero 2R, Apexi N1, HKS hyper Max II. i just have mine put on, no noise, stiff valving, ride is not harsh, and at a affordable price, what more can u ask for?
