Long time no see, how's it been buddy? Shoot me an email!!
The master cylinder would be one of the last places I would look if I was diagnosing a soft pedal unless I had any suspicion that it could have been bled dry and air had entered the system from the reservoir. Then it's time for a little reverse bleed action if the master cylinder has a bleed screw on it. If not, you're not going to be a happy camper.

subyke555, I'm very glad to hear that you are enjoying your new Big Brake Upgrade.
I do apologize that we are having trouble sourcing the larger 290x18mm vented rear rotors that come on the non-US models of the WRX, but now that they're finally coming to our shores on the Legacy GT it should only be a matter of time.

If your brakes get spongy, then you pump them up, drive straight, then turn and they're spongy again, it's more than likely the wheel bearings/hubs. When I say hub, I don't mean the knuckle, the hub is the part your studs are in.
And Yes, I have my pedal adjusted too, I do it to many cars. In fact I believe I'm the one who did it to the car Stoptech is referring to, if you're referring to Ken
