Annoying suspension problem

So i took my car into the local midas brake shop finally, been here in turlock for at least 20 years, so no doubt a good place. So i get my bugeye in and find out that my front brake pads were contaminated, and that they had worn random grooves into my rotors, even though they were only half gone....So i ended up having to get them resurfaced, and i upgraded to carbon composite pads. Ever since the day i got the new brakes, my car now has a shaking in the front end, only during brakeing, only at 30-40 mph. The shaking doesnt get fed back thru the steering wheel, i feel it in the chassis, are my struts shot, or what the hell is goin on here?

Sounds like you got a BS brake job. Chances are the pads were not bed properly. The bedding process will evenly distribute pad material across the face of the rotor. If they are not bed properly a thin layer of material may build unevenly. As you continue to use the brakes this uneven build up gets higher and higher causing more and more shudder. This might also be known as warping but Stoptech says that it is uneven pad material. To get rid of it you're probably going to need new rotors. You already had your current rotors turned once. If they can be done again and are still in spec, do it. Once you get them reworked, do this:
0-30-10x3
10-60-10mph
10-80-10mph
10-80-10mph
etc.
Do this quite a few times. Never come to a full stop, brake hard (stay off ABS). You want to get a ton of heat into the brakes, if it's done right they should be smoking when you finally stop. After their smokin' let them cool overnight or how ever long. Just be sure to do this as soon as possible.

bummer, o well, now i have an excuse to upgrade to powerslot rotors
Ive been driving it like this for about a month and a half now, tried a couple of bedding in runs but they didnt seem to do much, never did the full list though, that 10-80-10 is gonna be a pita to find a road to do, lol.

Try going at 60mph and lightly apply the brakes for a few sec. Cool and repeat 3 times. If this doesn't bed them in, you'll probably nead to resurface.
