Exclamation '06 STI ABS problems...

I've been hearig horror stories about WRX's ABS reverting to low-braking power when the car senses low traction, and having it happen at inappropriate times. I believe I experienced the scenario in my 06 STI; hard braking, straight line, dry pavement, but a bit of a hump in the road. Once the car settled onto the pavement after the rise, there was virtually no braking force being applied to the brakes for a couple hundrd feet.(brake pedal to the floor) All resulting in an "off" and some serious damage. Any thoughts? (I'm not a rookie driver and the sensation has me seriously concerned)

This happened to me on a recent canyon drive in my 04 STi. I hit a hump in the road at the exact same time I was applying the brakes (heavily). I got the oh crap sensation from the brakes. Since I had an 02 WRX previously, I had already experienced this sensation and knew exactly what it was. I simply let off the brakes and then re-applied them and everything was normal again.

To be honest though, this is the first time I had this problem in 2 years with my STi. On my WRX it was a somewhat common occurance.

I have not heard any issues concerning the ABS on the STi until now. I took my 03 WRX into the dealer and had them reprogram the ABS under the recall, because I was getting the same "oh crap" sensation when hitting a bump, and while it did (I think) make it better, it still wasn't good enough for me. So I pulled the ABS fuse out. Most of the cars I have driven didn't have ABS anyways, so I am used to it.
