Oil change basically. Lots of looking at stuff, but no scheduled replacements for anything. Tires should be rotated at 7500. Maybe check for all your fluids to be topped off and whatnot.
Technically there isn't a 10,000 mile check up at least for 2002 imprezas.
The 2002 service schedule calls for:
a minor services every 7,500 (3,250 for stressful conditions).
a medium service every 15,000
a major service every 30,000 with a more major service every 60,000.
minor is basically an oil/filter change
medium is an oil/filter change and a brake check
major is an oil/filter change, air filter, fuel filter, coolant flush, brake check/fluid flush, gear oil and diff oil check (but change it anyway), suspension check. Regular plugs are changed every 30K, platinum plugs (ie WRX) are changed every 60K. Perhaps a couple of other "inspections" too
The service schedule information may vary with model year. It should be in the Warantee handbook that came with the car.
Anyhow, the above would mean that at around 10K you would do a basic oil/filter change. Technically it's optional unless you drive in dusty conditions, tow stuff, or you drive with your right foot firmly pressed to the floor most of the time. However, its a good idea especially for the WRX since it will extend the life of your turbo.
