Should I get an '04 or an '05 wrx?
Well I am debating on which I should get, an '04 now or wait until the '05's have some incentives. Right now I can get a new '04 wrx for $22,900 and a $1500 rebate. The interest rate I was quoted is at 4.25%. I have no idea what kind of incentives there would be around say Dec. or next year for an '05. The only thing is that I still owe more than my trade in is worth right now and would have to roll over the balance into the deal. Later on if I chose to go for the '05 I would owe less, but again I don't know what kind of incentives there would be. So if any of you have an opinion of what I should do let me know. Thanks alot.

Well, even without incentives you can get that kind of deal on a WRX if you haggle enough. I got my '03 for $23,200 with no incentives back in Feb. '03.
I reccomend the '05 for a couple reasons.
1. The interior is WAY better.
2. The smoked headlights are hot.
3. If you wait, you said you won't have to roll money in to your new loan or else you would roll FAR less.
Take it from someone who did this. I knew what I was doing when I did it, but I still got a $28,000 WRX. Now it sorta bites because I could have purchased an STi a couple months ago but I'm too far upside down on my WRX to do it without dropping a TON of cash out of pocket. Just get your loan paid down on your current car and buy a WRX next year.
Benefits?
1. Stay on the boards and you'll know a ton about the car before you even buy it. This will be good for you.
2. Lower payments = more mods (or food, or a nicer place to live..whatever) (mods).
Trust me.

Thanks alot for your response. That deffinitly makes sense. I calculated that by waiting until next year I could save about $2000 so I'm just going to wait. I took a look at the interior of the '05's and it seems that they have better cup holders which may seem insignificant, but still a plus. Thanks again.
