But believe that the WRX (or the 9-2X aero) does NOT have a 90/10 power split in the auto unlike the regular RS and TS auto. (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this)

Nope... the 90/10 changes when needed.

You are correct. The WRX auto is a 45/55 split (IIRC, I remember that it is around 50/50 but not exactly 50/50).
The regular 9-2X (or TS) automatic should have a 90/10 split.

When is the Imprezza update coming, '06?
Think the Saab will be updated with it?
The next version will HAVE to have a manu-matic "sport" shifter (like the new Legacy got). Also, stereo controls on the steering wheel. IMHO...
Also, notice the speedo (not the tach) is the center guage in the pic.

i really like the saab look... buuuuttt.... the interior looks sort of chincy. granted, the wrx interior is nothing to brag about, but the seats are really cool. if there was one thing i have received many compliments about it is the seats.
with that discount i would probably go saab

If I had a job where it was a status sybol for what you drive. I would buy the SAAB, then tune it.
Remember what kind of cars it is going up against. I dont think people are going to be choosing between SAAB and Subaru. Expect to see a fully loaded 9-2X to be close in range to a base STi.
