new 04 WRX with options $21026 OTD

Finally bought an 04 WRX after lot of shopping. This is what i got.

Security Upgrade
Spoiler
Armrest extension (don't like cuz it gets in the way of shifting, so i just pop it open while shifting)

traded in a 93 Accord with 169K on it with NO audio system (i ripped my stuff out, including 4 speakers), a LOT of dents on the right side and damage from a car backing into my left door and a truck hitting my left rear a few days ago. Basically the other dealerships were giving me $500 for it max. I would've been happy with $1000 honestly.

So Bowser Subaru of Pleasant Hills cuts me a deal for $21,999 for the silver WRX. I asked them to lower the price and the only way they could lower the price was to give me $2000 for my trade in instead of $1000 which they were originally going to give. Also on Dec 17th i got an email from SOA stating that if i were to buy a WRX in PA, MD, or DE i'd get another $500 off. so this is how the ultimate cost turned out to be.

$21,999
- $750 (customer cash back)
- $500 (email from SOA for another $500 cash back)
- $2000 (trade in)

= $19499 + Tax(7%) + New Plates = $21026 OUT THE DOOR.

Bowser Subaru of Pleasant Hills still has another car identical to mine options-wise except it is blue. so if anyone is looking for one near Pittsburgh, PA go there and talk to CJ Da Pra. He'd love to sell you one for $22,000 minus $500 if you got the email from SOA.

EDIT - This was with 0% financing btw.

If your arm is hitting the arm rest extension you need to raise the drivers seat, thats what I did.
Sounds like one KILLER deal to me.

Thats the hard part about buying a new car with a trade in... They usually dont give you much. They offered to give me $2,500 for my 94 Accord, but i sold it myself and got $3,800 for it.

see my car tradein value according to kbb.com is $963 while private party selling value is $1903

so actually the dealer gave me more than it was worth. not only that but the car didn't have any sound system at all. no deck, no speakers nothing. lot's of damage on the left side, especially a huge dent from someone backing into me on the driver's side. left rear fender flattened. etc. so twas a good deal trade in wise.

Technically, you should include your trade-in value in your out the door price as if it were a down payment. Still a good deal either way.

I wish I could of sold my civic privatly but I think I got a better deal trading it in. Yes blue book or whatever said my car was worth about $3,500 but with many problems with it, high mileage, timing belt replacement very soon, messed up synchro in second gear, dents, stuff messed up here and there. They gave me $2500 I don't think I would of sold it very easily on the streets.

O yeah I forgot, I got a pretty good deal on my car also it was around 22,000 including taxes. MRSP that was stated at the dealership was $26,000 I have to say that's pretty good.
