ATTN: '05 WRX Owners [OTD Prices]
I'll be getting one VERY soon. Just waiting for the right price.
I was just wondering what you guys paid OTD and with what options?
I visited Carlsen last week and MSRP sticker for a base WRX w/ wing is around $25,000.
However, I've heard people from other parts of the country saying they got one for ~$22-23K OTD.

Naw, you just need to find out who the fleet salesman is, and do it all via email. No sitting anywhere for 6 hours.
I had a price set for the car before I ever saw it, they came to my apt from oakland, picked me up in the car, drove me back to the dealer, we did the paper work for about 20 mins, and I was gone.
If any Saab Aeros still exist, check them out. I paid 24k OTD with leather, HID, butt warmers, and a Saab emblem.
19,204 Base Saab 9-2X Aero (WRX Wagon with sound deadening, STi steering rack, other stuff)
600 Cold Weather
1,600 Leather + HIDs
4 for dealer ******* fees
21,404
+TTL = 24k
(Tax is assessed prior to 6k rebate, which makes it higher than a 21,404 WRX would sell for by a little bit)

With GM continuing that "employee discount" program on the Saabaru, that would make a lot more sense financially than getting a '05 WRX...right?
Unless you are totally against going wagon-style.

The Saab was more than just an employee discount.
Saab was giving a 6k rebate on the sale of 9-2Xes when GM activated the employee discount. Both together made for cheap cars (employee price - 6000).
My car was 21404 with options, list of 29,750 (or so, very close). $8500 is a lot of discount on a 30k car.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm not totally against the whole wagon thing. If they run out of all the 5MT 9-2X on the west, then I'll have to go with a WRX Sedan.
I'll check out some dealers this weekend.
