Problem Solved; almost a year ago.
Please disregard the statement(s) above; 'twas always a(n) tumultuous time dealing with any dealership, that is neither here nor there. In the posts above, I had in-directly threatened personal property of the owner of Wilton Subaru; and due to this; legally, something could come up which prevents me from future endeavors with said company.
The statements, which I made, slight of a year ago; only allows me to look back in horror at what an upset client can say about service and the like; when in fact, said client caused his or her own difficulties, and the dealership was correct in the statement it made to the client.
Since the incident, I have had nothing but personal and genuine service from Wilton Subaru; especially via the phones (regarding parts) and in person (whilst picking up said parts). Do not judge this dealership by the statements I have made. The statements were childish, and quaintly -- water under the bridge; water far past that bridge; and onward the bridge goes.
The situation was taken care of; and as such, I should have recanted the information posted here quite some time ago. However, due to my lack of doing so; I have inadvertently put myself at the bottom of the barrel.
I am extremely sorry for my rants.
Best Regards,
Gered C. Andrews

probibly not the best statement to put in a complaint about dealer treatment and waranty.

I have to say, it is quite amusing reading all of your whining and complaining. It is painfully obvious that none of you have a clue how dealerships work, or work with the manufacturers to reslove problems. Maye, and this is just a thought,,if you approach the dealership in a professional manner, they will treat you with the respect that you feel you deserve. What I found even more amusing than all of the replies was that the person who originated this post NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO THE SERVICE MANAGER at Wilton.
Dealers are there to support all of you from start to finish. Stop trying to point fingers all the time. It usually points back to you.
Just ask Gered.

Indeed, however (back then, in good ol' 2003, lets keep resurrecting the olden, less-informed days
) when I spoke with my salesman (who is no longer at the dealership) and the individual in charge of.. financing (??) over there (when the issues were at hand) they should have pointed me to the service manager instead of dismissing me.
All is well though; live and learn.
(Holy run-on batman, my statement above is quite confusing to read -- I guess my emerson-like writing skills dissipate with lack of sleep).
P.S. -- 04sti04.. Either you are very good at assuming things or we've met at said dealership
