There's been so dang much drama over post counts, avatars and special titles. Sheesh! Just get rid of them all. No post counts. No avatars. No special titles.

Oh well....

I had a lot of legitimate posts before this change and was close to having an avatar. Big F-ing deal! what gets me is all the babies and whiners we have. this change was brought about because of post count abuse.

Im just going to claim "lurker" status and not post again until I-club and it's Mods gets there head out of there asses and fianally decide on rules, SOP's, format etc. They're too soft and should just start banning people left and right like Jamie....hell it seems to be working for the "other forum".

Let's see how many people whine about my post now

PM me at nasioc, socnet or catch me in BAIC chat in AIM under the same handle when you guys here get your sh*t straight because that's where i'll be until then.

I agree. I can't fathom getting your panties all wadded up over a fekking post count. A high post count means you spend too much time on the InterNet verbally masturbating all over yourself.

You wanna be a rockstar in the Subaru community? Then become a tuner like Chris and Bill, or a vendor like Tommy or just hang out for daaaays and post helpful info about the weather like Gagan. There are plenty others that I didn't mention, but jerking off all over the forum to inflate your post count just makes you a net geek, not a car enthusiast.

I would not say that I am "whining" about this.....I am pissed because I have had about 95% legitimate posts that WERE participating and contributing to BAIC.....

I can, (and will, if need be) post links to ALL of the posts I have ever written (yep, thats right, all 897, or whatever the count was), and anyone can review them so I can prove that I was not posting random ****.....

Secondly....this **** about avatars.....well, if we ALL cant have them....then NOBODY should be able to have them....ESPECIALLY THOSE that postwhored ALOT to get thier avatars and got to KEEP them. (you know who you are).

Thirdly....if my contributions to BAIC (esp. the meets, get togethers, and evening/recent birthday outings) are going to get punished because I didnt post in certain forums, or are not counted as "contributions"....then What is the point of being a part of BAIC, if EVERYONE is not recognized? So basically because I didnt post in the tech forums I am not a Real I-club member? Oh, THAT is a good way to get people to come around and make the club grow......Making people that TRY to be an integral part of the club feel like outsiders....I thought this club was supposed to be DIFFERENT/BETTER/MORE FRIENDLY than NASIOC....I can see that it is not....its sad too, because I have met alot of really cool people that I would like to continue to hang out with....but if I am not a "real" I-club member and have that fact thrown in my face over and over again....maybe I am not worthy enough to hang out with i-clubbers.......if thats the case, I will be removing the i-club stickers from my car, and nobody will be seeing me around anymore....

this "club" is becoming another dictatorship...........

And for the record im have been here since day one to meet other cool funny people i can bs with in real life. Im not to worried about this or that techincal issue as technical issues are easily resolved with a few phone calls to different mechanics and doing a bit of research on your own.
