all of this just seems like nonsense to me.
I mean I really could care less...I wasn't even aware that my count dropped until I started reading all these threads....I have no clue what I was at before. I don't care.
But on the topic I just think it's stupid. So the moderaters get to give their buddies avatars before they get to the demanded thread count. The fact that there is a mandatory thread count is stupid.
I just thinks it's rediculous....this site is like a big popularity contest. Tons of post whoring...tons of rediculous crap...but you know what I don't care about that either. Cause I can float through and find out about local meets, drives....check out parts for sell and get info on things and get advice....
To solve this stupid problem do what everyone else that has these sites does.....everyone gets an avatar or no one gets an avatar....case closed...no more but he...but I...but this...complaints on this subject and we can move on to more appealing topics and take up space with much better things.....
So my vote.......all or none.
I don't even look at my thread count so it only going up for posts deamed worthy means nothing to me. A person's first post could be more valid and useful than another person 2600th.

Who vares about post count. I have an idea that could solve all of this. Eliminate titles and post counts. And if you care about an avatar that much, Alex should sell them for like $5. It works on another board I am on, why shouldn't it work here?
