complaint letter

Ok, so here's the deal. I want to write a complaint letter to Disney. I don't really wanna get into why I want to write the letter on here, because it will become a political battle. Regardless, I've never written anything like this. What part of the company should i send it to? Anyways, if anyone has ideas let me know.

Good luck, the inner working of the mouse are pretty impenetrable by the general public,

they even teach classes in how "cast members" are to handle customer complaints, and it pretty much boils down to "pretend you care and blow them off with a smile"

You probably will need to direct your complaint to someone in charge of the specific area you had your problem, resteraunts rides and Hotels all have their own management organization and tend to deal with their customer issues directly.

And the most you can expect back from the board or management would be a form letter thanking you for your suggestions, but I'd be surprised if you even get that.

ok, fine, I'll give a cliff note version. OK, so it was gay day at Disneyland (not put on by Disneyland). I don't have a problem what so ever with homosexuality. I have friends that are gay, etc. I have a problem with gay men and gay women walking around wearing shirts that say, "spitters are quitters", "8 1/2", some stupid emo girl walking around with a purse that said, "f u c k you". I heard that Disneyland has a "dresscode" and screens what people wear. This maybe a pointless cause; but it really upset me. I mean Disneyland is a family place where I should have to explain to my kids (if I had any) or James's 8 year old brother, who has recently started reading and reads EVERYTHING, what shirts like that mean. I don't want this to become a political battle about homosexuality or a "*** bashing" session. That wasn't my intention. I just merely want to let that company know how I feel.

If my kid saw some offensive shirt at Disneyland I'd be pretty pissed too. Unfortunately Disney doens't give a sh*t about you or your kid, they're a big evil corporation and they won't do a darn thing about it. Best thing to do is tell the person how offensive their "cute" shirt slogan is and ask them if they'd like to explain such a thing to their youngster. I bet they wouldn't wear that shirt to Disneyland again if they actually thought about how offensive it is.

On a similar note, don't bring your kids to the Folsom street fair. My friend came back and told me first hand about seeing numerous people naked and/or copulating on the street. NASTY how the hell is that legal?!

I know how you feel. Recently, my girlfriend and I took a trip to Florida and went to Disneyworld. That weekend they were having Gay Day and like you said I have nothing wrong with homesexuals. What I do have a problem is intentionally making comments that are inappropriate and make other people around feel uncomfortable. Yes, people have the freedom of speech and the freedom to wear what they want, however, there is something called decency. You can wear that crap around the streets, but when you know your going to be around hundreds of children who are going to be asking what that means or why are those two guys making out then I think that is taking it too far. It is almost like they get a kick out of the reaction and almost want people to say ish. Being older I could just ignore it or shrug off the comments, but my GF and I felt bad for the parents who had to explain to their children what the shirts such as, "I like it rough" means.

Good Luck! They should give you your money back. I bet your not the only individual who has complained.
