how reliable are the impreza's

i am looking for a new car since my jeep wrangelr is falling apart on me......i really like the impreza's but i was wondering how reliable they are......i dont really want to spend a whole lot of money on fixing it all the time.......would this be a good choice for me?

A hell of a lot more reliable than a wrangler. I'd say close to Toyotas, which are very reliable.

keeping it stock should last you along time. 2nd, it's from japan.

Also, and like any other car, you really want to baby it for the break in period. Treat it right, it'll love you; treat it wrong, it'll rape you.

i don't have pics for the impreza yet. i do however have pics for the new legacy. for some reason the cameraphone i was using didn't work so well. anyway heres the link i have it on - the hawaii forums.
