The process I went through to buy my car should work well for you too (though I didn't buy an STi).

I went to the edmunds.com website and selected the WRX from the New Cars menu. I then used their option that says "Get Free Local Dealer Quotes". This option has you put in your zip code, fill out your contact info and date for the car you want and then lets you select dealers from a list of local ones in your area. Edmunds then sends out an email to them with your info so the dealers can contact you.

The cool thing here is that you can get a quote without having to go to the dealer and be subject to hard sell tactics, and that most delaers have special internet departments that hook you up with a discount on the car, no haggle, no bs. Pretty cool deal - I got a call back from a local dealer in about 2 days, they gave me a sweet deal on my car and I went and bought it the following night.

I've already pre-selected the STi site for you. Click ->here<-

Good luck.

unfortunately kbb hasn't come out with 04 values yet(as far as consumers are concerned) here is one of my quotes from another thread----

((((edit- buying new on a wrx, u can't go wrong. example-----
i paid 23,000 for my wrx wagon in 11/2002(03 model) and as of today the kelley blue book retail value is 24,000! the kbb value for subarus is strong. and better yet i only owe 16,000. so either way i am in it right. so it depends on how good you do @ the purchase price. good luck!))))

now imagine this---- there are 4,500 sti's to be made for the u.s.(inaugural year) if the kbb value is this strong for a wagon like mine... can you imagine that for an sti?
