i am thinking of modding my car again and i was considering apex AVC-R and AFC. Not sure if i should get them,i hear great things about them but many people say its bad for the turbo. I currently have Apex catback N1 exhaust,Blitz DTT, TurboXS BOV and thats all for now. I considered the booster cuz it provides engine management as well and looks clean in the car with its display. Can you people give me some of your thoughts since this will be a pricey purchase.

 

AVC-R is great, but I'd rather get a fully mappable ECU than an S-AFC. Be warned that an S-AFC also changes the ignition timing!

 

oh i c. im buying it off someone thats near me and he sells parts in mass amounts and will install it for me,he said if i get the avc-r i need to get the afc to properly tune it. Also i asked him about your comment on the ignition timing and he said it only happens its not set right,he has both of them in his car and says u can set it to stock mode and nothing would be different. hmm
