use that and make a good friend who works as service tech or salesman.
or better yet search in da forums!! its free!!
edit- buying new on a wrx, u can't go wrong. example-----
i paid 23,000 for my wrx wagon in 11/2002(03 model) and as of today the kelley blue book retail value is 24,000! the kbb value for subarus is strong. and better yet i only owe 16,000. so either way i am in it right. so it depends on how good you do @ the purchase price. good luck!

research. check out what invoice is on these cars, and glean these forums for as much info as possible. i would also look into insurance costs for the car you are looking at getting
i am big on buying new, especially for higher performance cars like the wrx. you never know what some crack-head has done to the car that you are thinking about buying. plus, you get the added security of warranty, hopefully removing the hassle of getting your car fixed (and money lost) for 3-7 years--depending on which warranty you go for.
