I agree this is normal, my '02 wagon sometimes requires a few extra seconds to start. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with cold weather, and I have an optima yellow top battery that works just great.

mine does the same thing but i think that the cars pushing to much fuel thats not getting combusted so when u go to start it up theres still fuel in the cyclinders which gives it a hard time to crank. may just be running to much fuel in the sys.
