'02 Impreza, Back-up lights not working

'02 Impreza, Back-up lights not working
My '02 Impreza wagon 5 spd. reverse lights don't work. All fuses are good, and all bulbs are good. Dealer says it may be a switch on the tranny. Any one else run into this,Thanks BH

The dealer is probably right. There is a switch on the transmission that closes when in reverse, it may be shot. If as you say all else is ok the switch is the likely culprit. It can be checked with a meter.
