Depends on how much power and what your goal is... but a VF is ideal for about 300+whp

I'd just pick up a newer one... already with all the goodies... (aka - mine!) It doesn't need a thing. check it: https://www.i-club.com/forums/cars-s...4/#post3426699

honestly tho, with that many miles, I would just let her retire gently...I would guess that when you drop in the vf, then more supporting mods, then boom... Is it your only car?

what are you goals as far as awhp? I got to 302/308 safely and was surprised.

130k miles? That's too many miles to really start upgrading power on a car. Certainly too much for a larger turbo.

I say go vf or a 16g for some nice gains my buddy has around 130k and his car pulls like a champ on 19 psi with a vf series.

Buy a vf39 and call it a day. They're cheap, feel great for the price, and are enough to keep you happy with a good protune. Don't spend money on a quality turbo like a dom or garret until your vf powered wrx blows up.
