Windhield wiper on 04 wagon
1st post
Just bought a Silver '04 WRX Sport Wagon.
Was just wondering about a couple of things.
#1 the rear windshield wiper fluid does not seem to spray out it just kind of spills out into to streams, like there is not enough pressure. Is that normal?
#2 does anyone thing the left arm that controls all the windshield wiper function a bit misleading?
For instnance when I pull the front blades go on, but no mist, and it is clearly labeled pull for mist, I have to push the button on the end of the arm for the mist.
Is my car just backwards or is this a known issue.
Thanks!

#1. I don't own a wagon WRX, just a sedan, but my Mitsubishi Eclipse had a rear windshield wiper fluid sprayer which did the same thing as your wagon; just spills out into streams.
#2. The controls for the front washer fluid sprayers -- it is labled pull for mist.... meaning if you have mist on your windshield... you know, not exactly rain... but mist caused by dense fog or something. You have to push the button on the end of the controller to actually use the washer fluid spray. I must warn you though, i'm not sure if they fixed it yet in the '04, but the '03s, when you use the spray while not moving, it reaches your rear view mirror! hehehe.... i think you gotta go atleast 45mph to use the sprayer to hit the windshield.
