BTW , as for getting their kids a car out of necessity I must agree with that. I got my young man a car too , an 84 monte carlo to begin with and now an 89 Integra, but I'll be damned if I get him a WRX! If that little squirt wants a car like mine he can flip burgers at IN & OUT!
To all married men who agree with my addition to the choices remember, "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission!"

I feel defensive because I'm being personally attacked. If we are free to express our own opinions, then why shouldnt I?
Oh, and by the way, internet forums are privatly owned, privatly controled entities. Our freedom is controled only by its owners, not by whatever country we happen to live in. That is, if you did happen to notice the little "agreement" you had to accept in order to join...

D= it is 1/2 me and 1/2 parents. My parents have the $ but them want me to work for it.
I did not like it at 1st, but hey people are not just going to give me **** all my life. I am going to work for it and i like it that way.
B= the mods are all me (this is why my car is so slow)
And like alot of you my parents do not want me to modify me car. They think i am going to *%#& it up.

D & C. For whatever reason, Mommy won't pay for the ESX740 upgrade package offered by Ali Afshar at ESX Motorsports. In the meantime, I'll have to settle for modest, economical performance mods. For example, a Calvin pee-pee sticker on my fuel door, a "Powered by (insert car manufacturer name here)" decal on my windshield, a poorly-fitted bodykit, a rattlecan primer gray paintjob, and Altezza-style taillights are good for at least 200hp (according to the shared mentality of the two Honduh-driving gentlemen that tried to race me last night). But, with the 200+ mph light-to-light runs that I'll be making, the stock spoiler just won't do. Looks like I'll have to dig out my old Erector set and print out some carbon-fiber-patterned wallpaper, so I can piece together a three-tiered wing that would make Boeing jealous. With a wing as aerodynamically advanced as the one I have planned, I'd better contact NASA. Maybe they can fabricate me a custom front clip (otherwise, she'll burn up on re-entry).

My wife and I pool all of our financial resources so here are my choices:
1) WE paid for the WRX
2) WE are paying for a TurboXS Turbo-back Exhaust very soon (buying it from auwrx) and also for the Cobb AccessPort (Stage 2) when it becomes available.
My wife is the greatest! I asked her if she wouldn't mind me getting me a new flex uppipe or a stealth-back exhaust for my birthday. She actually wanted to know what those terms meant, and after telling her, she said,
I'll get the uppipe for your birthday and the exhaust for Christmas...and you don't need to wait. Just get them now.
How cool is that!
P.S. I am going with the full turbo-back and no uppipe for now. I am convinced that the stock muffler is too restrictive.
