A Weekend with a Forester XT (Turbo)

This weekend my friend from Subaru Israel (he is in charge of Subaru promotion in Israel) gave me their Forester XT demo car (is it a car?) for hte weekend.
I must say its a car I'll be willing to change my Impreza for. sure the Impreza is more fun on the road, faster and I'll miss it every time one will pass me by but...
the Forester has a different kind of charm, it handles beautifuly (almost sports car) after all it is the XT with different setup, the steering though a bit light is very direct and linear, the engine is powerful (177hp) and if I got one a Prodrive performance package would have been installed (goes for 4K $) which pumps it up to 240hp!!
its comfortable (can't be said about my GT), well built and loaded (Lethear, heated seats, panoramic sunroof, Auto cliamte...),
but best of all it has no problem getting of road, to all those rally-like dirt roads where you jump & drift it with such ease you feel like mini Solberg
perfect combination STI/911 for the road and a Forester Turbo for the off-road

That is a nice looking Forester. I had one of those for a while (non-turbo obviously) and I always felt like the backseat was to small and that it had no pickup at all. I'm sure a turbo fixes that problem very nicely though. Looking forward to seeing that in the US (supposedly 2005 model)
forester turbo
my cousin has one back home(Turley/Istanbul) the old model tho, i think its 2000, its the turbo model, he has put in so much stuff, he has the valve control system, nice exhaust(i can fit my feet with boots on size 12
) really nice and fast, he's put much more stuff but i dunno what, he has around 250hp as far as i remember.
he's just got a SVX this past summer and got a bigger turbo, redid the entire interior, suede interior its amazing, the only problem is that its automatic, its got 300hp at the moment.
