Center dash is better in the 04'
Emblems are better on the 04' (the rear STi badge is shiny vs. black, side name long vs. tall)
The inner door panels are waay cooler in the 05'
Steering wheel is better in 04'
Better option for a radio in 05'
Suspension is better in 05'
Headlights are a toss up for which is better
04' has a shiny muffler, 05' has a black muffler

This applies to the 04 & 05:
1) Needs a rear wiper
2) Wing blocks your sightline in the rearview mirror (you get used to it)
3) Seats are not very supportive
4) No rear seat pass-thru
The rear wiper is really the only one that I whine about.

2) The wing does block vision, but it looks good on the car
3) AGREE! They need to be tighter, the bug-eye's seats were more supportive.
4) It is a neusance, but more rigidity is worth it.
