I think the seats are a little to big. You sit on them rather than in them as mentioned before but they are nice and are easy to sell. I don't like my insurance now that I have it. Staying off boost is near impossible and becomes and expensive habit with gas prices the way they are. Overall I like it though. No matter what you get your going to have some kind of complaint but if you get an EVO the thing you'll dislike most is losing to the STi. You will also appreciate the fact that its not easily confused with a Neon.

No rear window wiper, no auto IC spray, brake dust, crappy audio, green radio display doesn't match red everything else, and no matching dead pedal.

If you mean the '05 -only- and not things that would also be true of the '04, I think the lists you've seen so far would be a lot shorter. Most of the stuff mentioned is true of both years.
I don't care about gauge lighting color, in fact I hadn't even noticed it until I came on these boards and read all the carping. Sheesh.
Brake dust. The seats could be sculpted for skinnier butts. Brake dust. The wing cuts a wicked swath across rear vision. Brake dust. If I set the steering wheel height to my preference it cuts off my view of the top of the gauges. Brake dust.

Brake dust seems to be the winner....very annoying... the baby seat patches on the rear seats...doesnt come with floor mats....shift **** slightly rattles all the time and never stays 100% tight...but i'm being picky...love the car!!

i dislike that i get ~20mpg on premium.
i dislike that i had to pay ~ 30k for one.
i dislike that my insurance is so high.
i dislike all the people who check out my car now.
i dislike how i spend most of my work day checking out subaru forums.
i dislike that i drive too damn fast all the time now.
honestly i love it. best $30k i ever spent.
there are a few things that get to me a bit but nothing major:
i dislike the brake dust. (so i have to clean my rims a bit more often)
i dislike that they switched to a 5x114 bolt pattern. (less options for rims, oh well.)
i think the interior on the 05 is a lot nicer than the 04, i'm glad i waited.
