ok...hold on!
I was not trying to diss the evo. I probably miss typed.
The EVO is a very impressive vehicle. It is a near race car. But it is not a race car. Race cars have roll cages, no rear seats, no AC, no sound deadening,......AND......no floor mats (if you note that is the topic of this thread).
By that token, the STi is a near race car, but not a race car.
But my point is that neither the STi, nor the EVO come with floor mats in the MSRP. They are options, just as they are on most cars.

Why should it come wit floormats???
Why should the STi come with floormats??? I dont understand, this is a race car its not meant for your family to come in wit the dirty shoes or whatever, this is pure racing, and even if the evo comes wit floormats mitsubishi sucks, there cars arent reliable from what i here. But anyways the STi makes up in plenty other ways so i wouldnt complain bout the floormats, cause you can easily get them somewhere else other than from the damn dealership.
