Should I buy this WRX? Help!
I don't have a link at the moment but the car in question is a 2002 dark red WRX sedan. The car has a perfect carfax report, has had all maintainance done and an 80,000 mile extended warranty. Here's the bad part. The car was a ladies company car and was used to commute to Fresno twice a week so it has 70k on the odometer. She's asking 13.5 which is fairly low and my question is, is it worth it? I plan on doing a Vishnu stage 2, Vishnu TMIC and JIC's and some other stuff including replacing the stock clutch. Would the high mileage effect how well the engine will respond to the mods? I don't want to buy a dud, but it seems as if the car was taken care of prefectly, not abused and has freeway miles

Obviously the mileage will play a factor. My friends 96 Integra outperformed my previous 96 and we had same mods but i had 67k miles and he had 25k. So to answer your question it will make somewhat of a difference but overall for what your paying i think you will still be satisfied with what you will have. Also it should respond to the mods equally as if it had lower miles

if she wasnt beating on it it should be fine. hell, for that price you could dropin a full jdm drive train, and still be under what you would pay for a new one!

Well, you've already said what the problem is: It was a LADY'S company car. Are you going to trust a car that some woman was whomping the **** out of all the way to Fresno?! (I'm kidding. Women are great drivers). Seriously, though, that's a hell of a company car!
