A hell of a lot faster than the Acura. And if you can afford the car, you should be able to get a test drive.

Test drive the STI, but once you do there is no turning back. You will love it. However, be ready to spend lots of money on gas; it goes quick.

What upgrades are good for the STI that gain a good amount and free up the turbo? What is the stock boost at on the STI and if you were to up the boost what could it handle on a stock turbo? Thanks for repling the first time if u could help some more that would be great!
Do plan to race the thing?

IMHO

If not I wouldn't worry about all that stuff right now. The darn car is lightning quick as is. To say the least it is alot of car to handle.

as you can tell by my name I went from a honda si to the sti and I can tell you that I have not been able to wipe the smile off my face. You may miss the gas milage but you are going from a great car to a super car. I bet that the sti will get better gas mi. than most of the cars that can put up the same numbers. I know what you mean about all the mods. It took quite a lot to add to my si to make me happy. with the sti I have not felt the need for anything but tint for my windows. good luck

Is there a definitive list of changes between the to model years?
The tires are the same size 225 (235 in Japan) but the wheels are 1/2 an inch wider. 17"x7.5" versus 17"x8".

Here is a continually growing list of differenced between the '04 and the '05 STi.
