Car Info: '02 WRX PSM
Year/Model: '02 WRX 5mt

Modifications: APS turboback exhaust (catless), Vishnu uppipe (catless), Silencer delete mod

Octane: 93

Mileage: 300 per tank, about 20mpg

This is mostly city driving, usually shifting at around 3500 rpms, usually. hehe
Oh, another thing to note, I live in Texas where it get's really hot, my gas mileage is much worse when I need to use the A/C, like about 50 miles less per tank.

So far, from a fill up... mix with hwy & city... I drove 307 miles on a tank before the fuel light came on. That was about 1/8th worth of gas left.

WooT
That is not too shabby at all. When do you shift?

Here's my excel spreadsheet showing my mileage since I've owned the car. It has stayed consistant even after the mods. My worst is about 18 mpg and my best is around 26 mpg.

Miles to the tank should be some where in the 300's. So how many miles did u go? Or (since I'm a legacy owner) how big is the WRX tank?

If I wait until the gas light comes on I pump about 13.5 gallons which comes out to about 275 miles on average. The most miles I have gone on a tank was around 350 and the least was around 250.

The most important number is the mpg b/c that number can be compared to any car regardless of tank size.

yeah, I feel ya, I was just curious the size of the tank. I averaged 27.3-27.5 on my last two trips, mostly freeway. ('04 Legacy)

Those are great numbers! The WRX's mileage is highly dependent on how often you boost and is horrible for short trips or stop-n-go traffic. I drive in traffic almost every day, so my mileage suffers. I heard that modded WRXs with a custom tune (i.e. ecutek reflash) will get better mileage...driven conservatively of course!
