Hey everyone my name Richie and I will be picking up an 07 Impreza 2.5i this weekend and will post pics as soon as i get it... My plans for the car are to build a 300+whp N/A from bolt ons to a motor rebuild starting with suspension first all input is welcomed. oh yeah are wrx/sti parts direct bolt ons for an impreza? like shocks and mounts and etc. so if you guys know of any good venders or web sites please let me know tax return season is here and that where the money is going to go haha. i want to keep the out side looking somewhat stock as possible. And for those of you who think its gonna cost to much and i should just go turbo or get a wrx/sti no thanks. my other car i built from the ground up but its fwd.

Welcome to the forum. And if you're going to want 300+hp out of a N/A 2.5 I'll I have to say is good luck. If you want numbers then at least start off with a WRX or even better STI. You'll be saving money in the long run.

I don't even know if 300hp is possible on these n/a 2.5L. I'm sure it is, but it'll probably cost $10k+ to build the engine to be able to handle it. Like I said, good luck

 

Thanks and yeah i know its gonna be expensive but thats what i like to do "the impossible" haha... Thats what i did to my base cobalt i have a $10k motor in it rite now plus more goodies its a super quick car but its fwd i wanna go awd! well if you know any good site for parts let me know... also are parts swappable between 2.5i and wrx and sti? since i am picking up an 07 what is the motor called? ej25 or somethin like that?
