Smile new to site, new to subys

Just bought a non turbo 2000 outback sport. Had been a VW, Audi and Yota owner in past. OS is great, looking for some advice on repairs and projects, everything from stuts to seats. Look forward to learning a bunch and making some new friends. Looks like a great site.

Need some guidance, have stut issue. Looking at some kyb agx, wondering what is reccomended and what install is like. Loot is pretty tight, struts and mounts are not cheap. Any suggestions/insight on what works and known issues for stut install? Thinking the rears won't be bad, but fronts could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome aboard.

THE OBS is just like all the others
5 bolts hold the struts in. There are the bolts for the ABS sensor and brake line.

3 up top 2 on bottom for the strut. You should be able to see them with the hood poped and the tired off. It is strait forward. BUT you have to get it alighned after. You can try marking the bolts to see where they are suppose to go but the new struts wont exactly be the same.

Price, you can try the vendors here and see if they can do some kind of combo deal for you.

Mike

Thanks sig, found some online resources, but haven't been able to find a manual in print. Also got some advice from a friend and did a thorough inspection meself, looks like I can just wire and hang stuff as I take off strut tower. Saving loot to order now... Installing receiver hitch mount later this afternoon. Waiting to post pics till Ive made some progress from the 'before' pic. Looks like a grocery getter now, lol

Receiver hitch is on. let the bike hauling begin. Not sure if this counts as a 'mod'. Hitch is from Curt man., no drilling and very easy install. Just figured out that prev owner installed a strommung muffler. No wonder its loud.
