New to Subaru, new to this site

Picked up a 2005 sti recently, it replaces my 2003 M45, previously had my stint with a 2004 xjr, and what got me into cars, a 98 sentra, which I did a 5 spd swap on, and slapped a t3/t4 turbo on it. I've always loved subaru's, I wanted the wrx when I first saw it in road and track, now I ask, what took me so long? Love the sti so far

When I got it

It was WAY too low, and too stuff so...
Put stock suspension back on

Picked up some snow tires and mudflaps
Stock wheels with Nitto sn2 snow tires on & rally armor mudflaps

I took off that ARC reverse hood scoop/vent and put on a wrx hood scoop, like this alot more, I tried to like the reverse scoop, i really did, but I just couldn't

Similar story with my wagon! Bought it with coilovers and 18" wheels, ride was to rough. So I went with 17" wheels, kyb struts, and swift springs(only 1" drop and rides like stock) Nice STI and like LOLVTEC said it's the best color/year combo!!

those rota grids are in a desperate need of more meat though, and they are stretched a bit too, which I HATE!

I'm a huge fan of the stock BBS's, especially the 5x114 bolt pattern ones. The rims look fantastic on are cars. Try to pick up a gold set or powder coat your black

Anyway you slice it, it'll come out nice.

oh, and I removed the limo 5% tint and replaced it with legal 35%. Thing is a cop magnet, lol, should of known. Got pulled over twice in the first week, not for tint though, no front plate. I had no front plate for over 2 years on the other cars, ZERO problems, get this car, pulled over twice in first week, lol, so It now sports a front place

I love the ARC reverse scoop but not in white. Looks way better black. Nice car though and welcome to i-club.

Yes, I loved them all, for different reasons...a history...
2003 Infiniti M45...the rareness of it

2004 Jaguar xjr...the luxury of speed, 13.5 in the quarter...not too shabby

1998 Sentra SE...raw econobox power, lol

35% isn't legal still 70% is, which is your window glass.

But otherwise nice buy!
