There is a private owner who is offering $19,800 for his 2011 WRX sedan which has 38K miles. KBB says that what he is offering is below its pricing, but for what these cars are generally going for is it??

It's a decent price if everything checks out. Subaru trade in for a 2011 with 25k miles is 20k AFAIK

 

There is no warranty that I know of and yes everything checked out to be fine. He was originally selling it for more but i got him down to that price and he needs the money. He is a licensed dealer and had a the paper work for the car.

 

well then sounds good. I'd look around the car for "wrench marks" to see how much stuffs been touched, possibly raced or modded in the past?

 

Im pretty sure it has an aftermarket exhaust, and I know for a fact that it has an aftermarket nav system and sub/amp. The owner right now has only had it for a couple months and has never raced it, but not too sure on the previous owner. Is there anything i should look for under the hood or specific things that are tell tail signs that theres something wrong?

 

I just payed 22k for a 2012 wrx premium package. Price seems fair
